  • 211 provides people with ways to get help, such as getting connected with health and human resources. Available 24/7, free, and confidential. (You can get information in over 200 languages!)

  • Personalized services with a parent support specialist.

  • This organization sends free text messages with social-emotional development tips and information, bonding activities (to promote physical and mental health, social-emotional wellbeing, safety, brain development), conversation starters and much more, ALL tailored to your child's exact age (from pregnancy to age 8).

Parents as Teachers

  • Free personal visits customized to family needs (including helping providing well-researched information about parenting and connecting them to resources to support heir child). You get to choose what the visits focus on!

  • You can also be connected with other parents and complete regular screenings.

GRANDfamilies

  • Support for those raising a relative's child! GRANDfamilies is a support, advocacy, educational, and crisis intervention program which provides information and support to kinship families so that the needs of safety and permanency for children can be met.

  • Free services, including:

    • Crisis intervention

    • Adult educational and support groups

    • Adolescent support groups

    • Links to community resources

    • Assistance with guardianship paperwork

    • Drug & alcohol prevention services for children

WIC

  • Supplemental food and nutrition education program for Women, Infants, and Children

  • To qualify, you must (1) be pregnant, breastfeeding, or just had a baby, OR have an infant or child under 5 years of age, (2) need WIC foods to be healthy, (3) meet income guidelines OR be receiving Medicaid or food stamps.

Up to 3 Early Intervention

  • Up to 3's mission is to promote the development of children, under the age of 3, who have a disability or developmental delay and to provide services to children and families living in Cache, Box Elder, and Rich Counties. These services address the needs of families and children and can include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language therapy, eating and nutrition services, hearing and vision, and specialized instruction for children at risk for Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Special Education

Preschool aged children:

  • BESD holds testing on a monthly basis during the school year to identify children who qualify for special education services.
